Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance do I need to book?

​

Peony Promises & Picnics currently accepts bookings up to one months in advance, and we recommend reserving two to four weeks ahead of your preferred date. While we can accommodate your event with at least one week's notice, we cannot guarantee availability or custom requests. In some cases a 24 hour turn around can be accommodated, but customizations options will be limited. If availability is open there is an additional $50 fee for 24 hour notice set ups.

How much are deposits and does my deposit go towards my total balance?

Deposits are 50% of the total picnic quote made payable to Zelle. Deposits are applied to your total balance. Deposits are required to secure your date and are non-refundable.

What areas do you serve?

 We are located in Lafayette Parish 70592. We charge a $45 travel fee for anyone located 25 miles outside of that zip code. Any out of state request or locations 100 miles from that zip code please contact us via phone or email for more details.

Where can you set up picnics?

​

Peony Promises & Picnics can set up your experience almost anywhere we are allowed access legally (private residence, park, backyard, patio, beach, etc). Rented facilities are at the client's discretion and must be reserved, and confirmed in advance by the client. You are not guaranteed privacy in public locations. All rules and laws of public locations must be followed.

What if my experience runs longer than planned?

There is a $30 hr charge for events that go over the shceduled time. Peony Promises & Picnics must be notified prior to the expiration of your original time. The added fee must be paid at the expiration of your original time. ANY time over your original scheduled time, you will be charged the FULL additional hour fee.

What if I need to leave the experience early?

 Never leave your Peony Promises & Picnics Experience unattended. All rental equipment, decor, and suppplies are the client's responsibility during your scheduled event. You may incur an additional cost for damaged or lost items. If you need to leave your experience before your scheduled time, please contact us VIA PHONE immediately.

What happens if there is inclement weather?

In the event of inclement weather, your event will be rescheduled based on our open availability. You will have 60 days to reschedule. We DO NOT offer refunds.

What If I need to cancel?

We understand unexpected circumstances occur, and we'll do our best to accommodate cancellations. Deposits are non-refundable.

What if I do not show up to my experience?

​

No shows will not be able to book future experiences with Peony Promises and Picnics.

Do you provide food?

​

We have curated a list of food and sweets vendors to partner with that provide a variety of options for you to choose from for your experience. We have included contact information for these vendors as well. (RED WINE OR OTHER ITEMS THAT COULD STAIN RENTAL ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED)
